Idea

My very first idea is Nike will launching a new sports shoes that suitable to wear at any time and anywhere. So the visual idea is three different country picture combine and the line is connecting this three picture.

Tagline:

- Walk with your hearts.

- Your shoes is your heart beat.

- Run the city.

"Run the City" I decided to use as my tagline.

Geometric Shape

Random Drawing

Have a try my hand-drawing by using watercolour and Artline pen. From the start I just take out some materials and paper do some random drawing because I dont have any direction. First I use wet on wet technique randomly draw out some effect and using primary colours : Red, Yellow and Blue to mix out all the colours. Then I apply dry on wet technique to make the colour look more contrast and outstanding. After a while, using artline pen draw some floral.

Its look colourful but normal so I scan it and put inside photoshop do some develop and experiment.

After tried few technique I find out it is intersting and I continue develop more. The design outcome can use as graphic fabric.

I will continue try my best develop and explore more about this. I m quiet interest for this field. 

Story Book Cover

Beauty and The Beast I choose for storybook cover assignment. I believe everyone is familiar with this story book. This is a magical story of roses and unconditional love. So I choose the roses as my subject matter.

The Process in Adobe AI, I use Wacom and paintbrush tools.

Absolut Vodka

This is a subject for  us to explore and find out our own style in art direction.

The first assignment in this lesson is ABSOLUT VODKA.

Sketching on papers

For the 1st assignment in this class I was not really clear what is my own art direction. This is my first sketching, using line and shape to explore.

Feeling this is too complicated, so trying to simplify for the next 

Outcome in AI using wacom and pen tools but it is not really stand up and solid. 

Then I move to develop another art direction.

My inspiration came from these images in my research. 

First, I use the element of line and shape to develop 

Then I delete some of the line and start to add triangle shape inside and clipping mask with texture

Try in different opacity and overlapping

Last add on some watercolour texture draw by myself.

As usual I like to use shape and watercolour in my artwork. Please give me some comment. I m still in the learning process and develop out my own direction as fast as possible.
